Leader-Post App Reviews

I really like the app and it is intuitive and user friendly. However there is only a limit number of articles. Would be better if all articles in the paper were accessible in the app.

Not only is the LP paper a great read in the morning, and an awesome up to date website during the day, now a forward thinking application taking the LP to the next level. Hopefully, with some updates, they will push forward the most breaking news throughout the day.

I really appreciate the effort this company has put into creating this complete set of apps and I dutifully installed them all. The quality of this app will all depend on the amount of energy put in to updating the content and giving the reader insight into the local conditions. Though I was primarily concerned about the Leader Post I was much more impressed with the Winnipeg Free Press which is the electronic version of the real paper. It is easy to browse and you know you are getting the story that was put in the paper version. The main criticism of the whole Postmedia apps is the sharing of content and the lack of local news in most of the apps.

Please fix the crashes!! It got so bad I had to delete the app and reinstall the crashes for me were very bad

Good app, but is now crashing on my iPad

A good idea and thoughtfully laid out but it crashes steady. Only one star from me.

It just crashes waaaay too often.

Constantly crashes! No technology section and never updates on the weekend so you get no new news til monday. The website is a better option.

I read this paper only once since I downloaded it on my iPad. It just wont load. Just crashes whenever I try to load it. Until the developers get their s---t together, I dont advise anyone to use it. I am not in the habit of giving negative reviews, but this time I just had to warn as many people as I can! Whatever "bug" is the problem...FIX IT!!!

So much more responsive. Love the layout. Had uninstalled it several months ago but this version is more what I expect from the LP. Will be a daily draw for me again.

More useless than the paper copy. Always out of date

Its not that bad of an app but the content updates every 2 or 3 days. Would like to see it update everyday as it did when I first got it.

After a year, Im glad to see its available on iPhone. Thanks again.

I really, really wish that this was a useful app and it would be amazing if it would deliver todays news, like most newspapers strive to do. It is the worst of many great news apps that I use. Everyone that has it claims of the same problem. Maybe this will get their attention?

I would much rather see this app be a reflection of the current days paper rather than one or two current and a mishmash of others from past editions. Functionally it is fine but with the content issues I cant see myself using it much, so its on the way to being uninstalled.

This is the worst news app ever. The news is ALWAYS out of date. As of today, its 2 days out of date. It sunday today, and Im reading news that was posted on Friday. WOW!!

This has just started to happen lately maybe your having problems on the leaderpost end but the news is from the weekend and today is currently tuesday evening going on wednesday morning if this can be fixed the app would be great

The app has now quit loading new news, todays is the 18th the last day it actually loaded new news was the 12th!

It amazes me the news reported through this app is often more than a day old. I cant get yesterdays Rider game stories (as an example). Its Monday but the stories are all from last week. This app is a waste of space. Either keep it current or dont bother.

If you enjoy that "in your face advertising " then this app is for you. Otherwise dont bother with the app the relentless brain dead adds are immensely annoying!!!
